Project story · TOPA Electrical, Christchurch · 13 October 2026
In short: In the 12 months of 2021, TOPA Electrical completed the electrical work for more than 250 houses in Canterbury. By 2022 the total had passed 800 new builds, and the company has now wired more than 1,090 new homes for builders including Kevler Homes and Fletcher Living.

TOPA Electrical works to a “Three Controls, Two Managements, and One Coordination” principle. A quantity surveyor controls project investment, the office manager runs scheduling and an in-house inspector checks quality and compliance; health and safety and contracts are managed formally; and one coordinator keeps clients, contractors and suppliers in step.
The same systems let the team run multi-unit dwellings and the simultaneous development of up to 20 standalone homes, integrating with each builder’s programme.
“We use Topa whenever possible for new house builds. Topa are always on time and their after sales service really stands out. We would recommend them to everyone.”
Kevler Homes
“We use Topa for new home builds and electrical work. Topa Electrical work extremely hard to ensure work is completed to schedule, we are very satisfied with Topa and will continue to use them where possible.”
